ReaganBridgeen CAPITALIZING ON BUSINESS KNOW-HOW Mary had over 15 years of experience helping other companies launch their products when the entrepreneurial bug bit her again. This time instead of her own business, the idea was born out of baby stuff—something her staff knew plenty about having thrown dozens of baby showers for each other over the years. The creative themed baby showers complete with handmade gifts and games became so popular, others were asking for the goods.
CREATING A NICHE, SHOWCASING TALENT The staff had an in-house assignment; write a business plan, secure financial backing and create a sophisticated line of keepsake books and stationery. The result was ReaganBridgeen, a division of Reagan Marketing + Design, featuring original illustrations and quality materials that elevate its status to boutiques and upscale outlets.
Named for Mary’s two daughters, ReaganBridgeen made a name for itself in a distribution arena new to the agency—proving once again that good marketing transcends industry-specific experience. Web-based consumer sales, independent distributors, specialty retailers, “big box” retailers, tradeshow sales and licensing have proven effective. Steadily increasing sales have inspired an extension of the line from baby to wedding keepsakes.
