For Jan, a good day at work means crafting a creative solution that communicates the client’s message. Working as a freelance copywriter for a broad range of clients, she brings a passion for language to her projects at RM+D. She produces clear, accessible, goal-oriented copy for print, video and websites, as well as speeches, signage and seminars.

Prior to launching her freelance career, Jan was a senior copywriter at Steelcase. Her background includes degrees from Michigan State University and the Bread Loaf School of English at Middlebury, and positions at the University of New Hampshire and on the British campus of New England College.
